The Knotless Knot is a popular knot among carp anglers. Various baits, such as pellets, can be fixed in the ring section (also known as the “hair rig”). It is extremely effective when tied correctly and actually has some self-hooking properties. If you want to catch carp, you need to learn how to tie a good knotless knot. Because this knot forms an important part of most modern carp tackle.
The knotless knot works with any hook attachment material and can be used on any fishing hook model. Its main use is as a way to attach hooks to your hook attachment, but it is also used to create hair towers. Many modern carp rigs require the hookbait to be attached to a small swivel that runs along the shank of the hook. To do this, tie the knotless knot as shown below and then cut off the tag end that would normally be used for the hair.
How to Tie a Knotless Knot?
Tie a loop at the end of the rope to hold the bait. Pass the other end of the line through the eye of the hook and adjust the loop to the desired position according to the size of your bait.
Fold back and wrap 5 to 8 times around the needle stem, keeping the turns neat and tidy.
After the last wrap, pass the free end through the eye of the needle.
While holding the loop end in the desired position, pull the free end firmly. A drop of superglue can also be used on the knot.
